DetailThe Warm Audio WA76-D2 dual channel clean gain discrete FET compressor delivers the ideal blend of vintage analog character and modern flexibility. Faithfully recreating the renowned "Rev-D" FET compressor, the WA76-D2 offers classic compression controls plus useful modern features like stereo operation, variable sidechain filtering and a dry/wet mix control for parallel compression. With custom CineMag transformers and premium components, this 2U rackmount compressor achieves the rich, musical tone of an analog legend. Classic Controls Meet Modern Versatility The WA76-D2 gives you all the knobs you expect from a vintage-style FET compressor—attack, release, ratio, input and output gain—allowing you to shape signals with the signature fast, low-noise compression of an analog classic. Yet it also provides modern conveniences for the contemporary studio. Selectable 10 kohms input impedance matches modern gear, while sidechain high-pass filtering tackles problematic low end. An active bypass mode becomes a line amplifier and true bypass lets you compare compressed and uncompressed signals. Use the WA76-D2 in stereo, dual mono or with one channel as the key input for the other. Premium Components for Rich, Musical Tone Like all Warm Audio gear, the WA76-D2 uses only the highest quality components, including custom CineMag transformers and premium capacitors and resistors. The CineMag input and output transformers employ the same materials and specifications as vintage units, delivering the rich harmonic depth and musicality of the classics. A revised FET preamp stage improves linearity for a more authentic "cleaner, lower noise" character. These premium parts let the WA76-D2 achieve the coveted vintage sound of an analog legend. Meticulously Handcrafted in Austin, TX The WA76-D2 is hand-tested by passionate technicians in Warm Audio's Austin, Texas workshop. Their dedication to old-school quality and detail results in a compressor with vintage soul and 21st-century utility. If you're in pursuit of classic analog tone and versatile dynamics control, the WA76-D2 delivers the best of both worlds.
