DetailThe Taylor 112ce-N Grand Concert nylon-string acoustic-electric guitar provides an inspiring playing experience with premium tonewoods and innovative electronics. Taylor's signature Grand Concert body shape is comfortable to play and offers balanced, articulate tone that cuts through the mix. The solid torrefied spruce top produces a warm, rich voice, while layered sapele back and sides add resonance and projection. Taylor's Standard Nylon neck profile gives you effortless fretting up and down the ebony fingerboard. Onboard ES-N electronics faithfully amplify the natural acoustic sound for performance and recording. Grand Concert Body For Comfortable Playability Taylor's signature Grand Concert body shape feels comfortable against your body and provides controlled overtones perfect for recording and performance. Its smaller size puts the frets within easy reach, ideal for picking nuances and complex fingering. The Grand Concert's focused voice cuts through the mix for articulate tone that shines in ensemble playing. Solid Torrefied Spruce Top and Sapele Sides The 112ce-N is equipped with a solid torrefied spruce top for enhanced resonance, projection and note clarity. Through a specialized roasting process, the spruce becomes more porous and responsive. Layered sapele back and sides add warmth and low-end punch. These premium tonewoods, combined with Taylor's optimized bracing, yield a rich timbre with pleasing overtones. Together, these tonewoods produce an acoustic sound suited for classical, Latin and contemporary styles. Standard Nylon Neck Profile and West African Ebony Fingerboard The 112ce-N's Standard Nylon neck profile provides a familiar feel for classical guitarists. Its 1-7/8" nut width has moderate taper for a blend of precision and comfort. A slight radius along the West African ebony fingerboard enhances playability for steel-string players adapting to nylon strings. 20 frets give you plenty of room for chording and melodic expression. Overall, the neck design makes for a smooth transition between nylon and steel-string playing. ES-N Electronics for Natural Amplification Taylor's ES-N electronics faithfully amplify the 112ce-N's acoustic voice for performing and recording. A single-source under-saddle transducer captures the nuanced tone of nylon strings. Volume, bass and treble controls on the preamp allow you to shape the amplified sound. Plug into your favorite acoustic amp or PA and the ES-N system delivers the guitar's natural acoustic resonance and string articulation.
