DetailThe Suhr PT100 Signature Edition tube amplifier head brings together Suhr's amp design expertise with guitarist Pete Thorn's pursuit of the ultimate guitar tone. With three independent channels, advanced MIDI implementation and a rugged build, the PT100 delivers versatility, professional-grade features and reliability night after night. Feel the Tube Power With EL34s Four EL34 power tubes drive the PT100's 100W output stage, producing tight low end and rich harmonic overtones. The "Plexi-style" output transformer shapes the amplifier's dynamic response. With road-ready construction and hand-wired components, the PT100 is built to perform night after night. Shape Your Sound With Three Independent Channels The PT100 gives you three distinct channels to craft your tone. Channel 1 provides an American-voiced clean tone with deep lows and shimmering highs, plus a Crunch mode for medium-gain overdrive. Channels 2 and 3 offer British-voiced high-gain tones, thick with harmonics and sustain for searing classic rock or modern metal tones. With independent EQ sections on each channel, you can precisely shape the bass, midrange and treble response. Take Control With Advanced MIDI and Effects Loop For professional use, the PT100 includes MIDI connectivity to control switching and effects remotely. The series/parallel effects loop lets you blend dry and wet effects tones, preserving your core amp sound. You can also run the loop 100% wet when using MIDI control. Channel Switching Made Easy With Intelligent Footswitch The included 4-button footswitch powers up via the amp's MIDI jack for quick setup. It provides channel selection, plus independent control of the amp's MOSFET clean boost circuit. Use the boost to kick a channel into overdrive or shape solo lead tones.
