DetailThe Soldano SLO-100R 100W rackmount tube guitar amp head is the latest evolution of the iconic Super Lead Overdrive 100 (SLO-100), which revolutionized modern high-gain amplification. Designed to offer both the searing tones of the original and new player-requested features, the SLO-100R delivers the power, harmonics, and sustain that made the original a favorite of renowned guitarists like Eric Clapton and Mick Mars. Handcrafted in the USA with high-grade components and a limited lifetime warranty, this amp is built to provide legendary performance for decades to come. 100W Power with Three-Position Depth Switch With its 100W output, the SLO-100R offers unparalleled power and performance. The addition of a Depth switch gives players new control over the amp's low-end response, allowing them to shape the bass frequencies for a more powerful or subtle effect. This control, combined with the global Presence and 3-band EQ, provides precise tonal control, from sparkling cleans to thick, rich distortion. Whether you need tight, controlled low-end for metal or a punchy, rounded tone for classic rock, this amp can deliver it all. Crystal Cleans and Legendary Overdrive The Normal channel of the SLO-100R features Bright and Crunch switches, giving players the ability to dial in everything from pristine clean tones to harmonically rich crunch. The Overdrive channel delivers the thick, saturated distortion that made the SLO-100 famous, with incredible sustain and touch sensitivity. Guitarists can switch between the Normal and Overdrive channels using the included footswitch or the newly added front-panel toggle, making the SLO-100R versatile enough for studio, stage, or rehearsal use. Improved Noise Floor and FX Loop The SLO-100R features a new DC heater circuit that dramatically reduces the amp's noise floor, making it quieter than ever before without altering its legendary tone. Additionally, the tube-buffered effects loop has been redesigned for increased transparency, allowing players to integrate their pedals and rack units seamlessly without sacrificing the amp's tonal integrity. The rackmount design also features a Variable Slave output, making it easy to incorporate into a larger rig for recording or running multiple amps.
