Packed to the brim with DJ-friendly features, the Numark NS4FX gives you flexibility and precision in a thoughtfully designed controller—a rebirth of the popular NS series. Whether you’re mixing for a dancefloor or a livestream, you can mix tracks, samples and loops from up to four software decks at the same time. Looks, feel and function of a high-quality controller True to Numark’s rich tradition of making excellent DJ gear, the NS4FX has decks that live up to that high standard DJs have come to expect from the legendary brand. All four decks have dedicated, high-quality volume faders, big high-pass and low-pass Filter knobs, as well as a 3-band equalizer. Via the front panel, Crossfader assignment switches can delegate each channel to side A or B—or even skip the crossfader altogether. Decked to the nines—and beyond The NS4FX is loaded with features that are engineered to make mixing and scratching fun. Well-heeled with 6" touch-sensitive jog wheels with bright multicolor LED displays showing track position, BPM, pitch range and time, it’s beautiful to work on—and to look at. Layer buttons on each deck allow each side to toggle between multiple decks, allowing you to layer and mix up to four tracks concurrently. Also on all four decks are long pitch sliders with selectable range, providing super precise control of tempo while you’re mixing. Loop and FX sections give you total creative control When it comes to creating seamless loops and custom transitions, the NS4FX delivers in a big way. A dedicated loop section with multipliers on each deck gives you quick control of your performances. The FX area hosts six quick-launch software effects, which are triggered by the toggle paddles—one of our favorite onboard features to play with. This FX section also holds complete hardware control over wet/dry mix and beat division, while 16 Performance Pads with selectable pad modes like Auto Loop, as well as Cue, Fader Cuts and Sampler let the NS4FX serve whatever function you want it to. Ready to connect—on stage or in the studio The NS4FX has all the hookups you’ll need for the stage or studio. It’s got balanced XLR main outputs, two 1/4" mic inputs with dedicated volume and tone controls. An additional RCA booth output lets you easily connect the NS4FX to your monitor system, or—if you’re playing at a larger venue—a multi-zone sound system. And, if you’re a livestreamer who features guests or plays audio from external sources, the Mic 1 input can switch to an AUX to allow playback from a phone or other media device, through the RCA inputs in the back of the controller.
