DetailPlayers love the original Line 6 HX Stomp, and, at Musician’s Friend, we do too. Now, the Line 6 HX Stomp XL brings more control and more flexibility to your pedalboard, with more than double the switching options. Since it's based on the powerful HX modeling engine that was developed for the flagship Line 6 Helix, it’s not just backwards compatible with existing HX Stomp presets, its presets are also compatible with the entire HX family. It’s an incredibly easy step forward in the quest for tone. Believe us, this pedal packs a powerful punch, whether you're playing at home, in the studio or performing. Expanded Choices Plus Great Sound The extra switches on the HX Stomp XL do much more than just give you easier access to your presets. One of the key features is seamless control of the 6-Switch Looper without having to use an external controller. So you have instant control of half-speed, reverse and other cool looper functions. The switches are also touch-activated, so you have the performance-friendly ability to tweak and save presets with your feet. Studio Friendly, Performance Savvy HX Stomp XL is also much more than a compact, pedalboard-friendly multi-effects unit. Like its little brother, it's a versatile USB audio interface for your home recording setup. The powerful Command Center also enables you to control other gear directly from the HX Stomp XL. It can even send hotkey commands to your DAW or other software. We can only begin to imagine the possibilities for automation. Ease of Use Made Easier Even if you're just calling up presets, the added switches make getting around the patches even easier. There are also four available snapshots for each preset, making changing your tone in radical ways a simple, single-switch solution. The Line 6 HX Stomp XL also features some nice refinements in the ergonomics of the unit, like moving all the jacks to the back, along with the master output knob, which is spring-loaded. This last one is a really clever touch, as it means that, once you've set your ideal output level, you press the knob to recess so that neither a stray guitar cable nor a curious cat can change it randomly. We really like that real-world thinking that goes into this type of design tweak. Dive Into Your New Sound The HX Stomp XL has a lot to offer, whether you're just experimenting with effects, adding some versatility to your studio, or tweaking up a super-cool performance pedalboard. From the groundbreaking Line 6 HX modeling engine to the convenient ergonomic features, this is a unit that will be at home on any pedalboard.
