DetailThe IK Multimedia iRig Pro Quattro I/O is a professional-quality 4-in/2-out portable audio and MIDI interface packed with everything needed for field recording and content creation, for serious sound and flexibility—anywhere. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the iRig Pro Quattro I/O still packs in four high-quality, low-noise mic preamps; instrument, RCA and TRS inputs; plus XLR balanced, 3.5 mm stereo and headphone outputs—and full MIDI I/O. iRig Pro Quattro I/O works right out of the box with iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and PC, but can also serve as a stand-alone AD/DA converter, mic preamp or line mixer, with a built-in limiter and direct monitoring so you're always guaranteed the perfect take. As a mobile interface Connected to a computer or mobile device, the iRig Pro Quattro I/O will work as a high-quality, multi-channel audio and MIDI interface with a full array of inputs and outputs so you’ll always be prepared for any recording or need. As a broadcast/podcast interface Enable STEREO mode and iRig Pro Quattro I/O mixes all sources down to stereo for streaming or recording. Monitoring is easy thanks to a dedicated headphone output with independent volume control and direct monitoring. Or, use MONO mode for streaming to social media. Loopback lets you duet your favorite videos easily. As a field recording interface With an onboard microphone and optional stereo mic capsules, iRig Pro Quattro I/O turns your iPhone, iPad, Android device into a full-featured, professional field recorder. As a standalone mixer It’s also possible to use the iRig Pro Quattro I/O as a preamp and mixer—just power it via battery, USB or DC in and use the full set of inputs/outputs to capture professional audio on your DSLR camera. When in STEREO and MONO mode, DAW inputs 3 and 4 are used as safety channels. This means that it is possible to record the same signal present on DAW input 1 and 2, but reduced by 12dB as a backup, in case the sound source gets loud unexpectedly and causes the main channel to distort.
