DetailTransport yourself back to 1963 with the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom 1963 Les Paul SG Custom with Maestro Vibrola. This stunning recreation of a vintage classic gives you premium components and versatile sound in an iconic guitar. The solid mahogany body and set neck provide rich tone and sustain. Three Custombucker humbuckers handwired to high-quality electronics let you shape your tone from warm and rounded to crisp and defined. Iconic Vintage Style With its double-cutaway SG shape and Vintage Original Sheen finish, this guitar looks like it came straight out of the '60s. Gold hardware, including Grover tuners and a Maestro Vibrola tailpiece, completes the vintage vibe. The bound ebony fingerboard features block inlays and a comfortable SlimTaper neck profile. A split-diamond headstock inlay and "Les Paul" truss rod cover pay tribute to the model's history. Solid Mahogany Body and Neck The mahogany body and neck of the SG Custom resonate with a warm, articulate tone. Mahogany's tight grain and medium density give you sustain and clarity. The long neck tenon and dovetail joint create a rigid platform for the fingerboard and bridge, maximizing vibration transfer. The result is a resonant and harmonically rich voice capable of everything from snarly rock to silky jazz tones. Three Custombucker Pickups for a Range of Tones This SG Custom is equipped with three Custombucker humbucking pickups that provide a variety of tones from warm and rounded to articulate and defined. The pickups are hand-wired to high-quality components for an authentic vintage-inspired sound. A three-way toggle switch gives you quick access to the neck, bridge or middle pickup. Individual volume and tone controls for each pickup allow you to shape your tone with precision. Add Shimmer and Sparkle With the Maestro Vibrola No other tailpiece looks or sounds quite like the Maestro Vibrola. This lyre-style tailpiece adds subtle modulation and shimmer to your tone for a dreamy, ethereal effect. Adjusting the Vibrola's tension alters the guitar's resonance and sustain. You can lock the Vibrola to disable the effect when you want maximum sustain. The Vibrola takes an iconic guitar and gives it a signature sound all its own. Experience Vintage History The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom 1963 Les Paul SG Custom lets you tap into an influential era of music history. Play the same model of guitar that shaped the sound of rock and roll in the '60s and '70s. With premium components, versatile pickups and a one-of-a-kind tailpiece, this guitar gives you vintage vibe and mojo with modern playability. Plug it in and transport yourself back to the era that started it all.
