EMG M-72 Set Black

The Mini-72 set uses individual Alnico 2 Rod magnets in a dual-coil format. No added steel , just mini-rods (.156 Dia). It’s kind of like having 2 Front-Tele Pickups side by side but fatter, from both the increased aperture and the use of Alnico 2 magnets. The Magnetic Strength is almost 1000 Gauss like a Strat Pole Piece (.187 Dia) but with the added Iron of the Alnico 2. A mix�?A match�?and basically a whole lot of fun.Keep in mind that the Mini-72 set Pickups have a narrow string width sense and aren’t suitable in the bridge position of Floyd Rose equipped guitars. It was designed for the Gibson Tune-o-matic bridge width, and so it shall remain. The maximum string width should be about 2 inches (51mm).The Pole Pieces are spaced .395 in. (10 mm) apart, with an overall width of 1.975 in. (50.1mm).No need for string grounding, so no shock hazard. Low-impedance output so you can sound the same through a cable as well as wireless. And on top of that a 2-pickup system only requires 1.3 Milli-Amps of 9 Volt battery power.
