DetailThe Bugera BXD15 bass combo amp packs a serious punch for practice, studio work and gigs. With 1,000W of power from its Class-D design, the BXD15 drives its 15" Turbosound speaker to handle any venue. Its MOSFET preamp mimics the warmth and headroom of vacuum tubes, reacting to your dynamics with excellent clarity. Shape your sound with the 3-band EQ's sweepable mids and studio-grade compression. The BXD15's tilt-back design aims the thunderous low end right at your ears. Just plug in and dial in your signature bass tones. Punchy Low End With a British-Engineered 15" Speaker The BXD15 combo gets its impressive low-end thump from a custom-designed 15" aluminum cone Turbosound speaker. With over 30 years engineering concert sound systems, Turbosound is trusted by touring acts worldwide. The BXD15's 15" driver has the cone area to move serious air, conveying each note with tightness and authority. Expect clear, focused bass tones with plenty of presence in the mix. The all-wood cabinet gives the lows added warmth while the ported design boosts the low-mid punch. Whether fingerstyle or slapping, your bass lines will cut through. 1,000W of Class D Power Using Class-D amplifier technology, the BXD15 pumps out a staggering 1,000W of power. Advanced Class-D designs have the efficiency to drive high wattages without overheating while keeping the amp lightweight. You get incredible volume on tap along with reliable performance. The BXD15's power gives it enough muscle to play small-to-medium-sized gigs and keep up with a loud drum kit. It also has plenty of clean headroom for the studio. Dial in Signature Tones with 3-Band EQ The BXD15's preamp includes a classic 3-band EQ, giving you tonal control over the lows, mids and highs. The low and high bands provide 15dB of cut or boost while the mids offer a wide sweepable range at +10 to -15dB. Finding the sweet spot for your bass is easy. Scoop the mids and boost lows for a thunderous slap tone. Dial in a midrange bump to cut through the mix. Roll off highs for a mellow upright bass sound. Use the EQ to match the amp to your bass, playing style and the room. Built-in Compressor for Consistent Levels To control your dynamics, the BXD15 has a studio-grade compressor circuit built-in. It can be switched on with the footswitch for smoothing out uneven levels. Set the compression amount from subtle to more dramatic squash to tighten up aggressive fingerstyle playing. Or use it to tame the peaks for a more even level when slapping and popping. The compressor helps you maintain consistent volume no matter how hard you dig in.
