DetailThe RME HDSPe AoX-M PCI express card lets you take your audio projects to a whole new level with its high channel count and powerful feature set. Featuring twin gigabit Ethernet ports that can transmit and receive up to 512 channels of 24-bit/192kHz audio, the HDSPe AoX-M provides more I/O than you'll know what to do with. The card occupies a single PCIe slot yet gives you access to its 256-channel FPGA-based TotalMix mixer with level metering, loopback routing and flexible submixing. Manage Massive I/O With Ease The HDSPe AoX-M's driver software makes it simple to manage the card's huge channel count. You can select up to 256 channels to feed into the TotalMix mixer, then choose an additional 256 channels to pass directly to your DAW for recording and playback. On the output side, select up to 256 channels from TotalMix and 256 more from your DAW to send to the card's outputs. The optional MADI I/O cards let you integrate up to four MADI inputs and four MADI outputs with the Ethernet audio for even more connectivity. Versatile Monitoring Options With the HDSPe AoX-M, you have flexible monitoring options for any signal coming into or going out of the card. Patch any input or output into the 1/4" stereo headphone jack to monitor audio from your DAW, the network ports, MADI ins or outs or the card's own digital I/O and MIDI. The headphone out gives you a convenient zero-latency source for controlling and verifying signals in complex routing situations. Road-Ready Reliability Like all RME gear, the HDSPe AoX-M is built for the road. Housed in a rugged, single-slot card, it delivers rock-solid performance and reliability for portable and installed systems alike. Both the Dante and Milan versions can be installed in qualified Thunderbolt enclosures for use with laptops and the card is fully compatible with Windows and macOS for use in desktop DAWs and other audio processors. For high I/O, flexible routing and monitoring in a road-ready package, the HDSPe AoX-M is hard to beat.
