DetailThe Midas DM16 16-channel analog mixer packs impressive sound quality into a rugged, road-ready chassis. Outfitted with eight of Midas' award-winning microphone preamplifiers, the DM16 grants warm, detailed tone to vocals and instruments courtesy of the legendary British EQ. Thanks to its versatile I/O, compact footprint and renowned Midas sound, the DM16 empowers you to mix with confidence whether recording an album or rocking the stage. Achieve Pristine Clarity With Midas Microphone Preamps The DM16 is equipped with eight of Midas' revered microphone preamplifiers, lending superb clarity and nuanced response to vocals, acoustic guitars and more. Modeled after the legendary British mixing consoles of the 1960s and '70s, these preamps impart incredible warmth and detail that shaped the sound of rock and roll. Even when pushed, they exhibit sweet forgiveness and Hi-Fi sound. With +48V phantom power to accommodate condenser mics, the DM16's preamps help you capture transparent, noise-free tones show after show. 3-Band EQ and Flexible Routing Each of the DM16's 16 input channels (eight mono, two stereo) provide 3-band EQ with sweepable mids, giving you immense tonal flexibility. Dial in the perfect amount of low-end thump, midrange bite and silky highs to suit any source. The two AUX sends are switchable between pre- and post-fader, allowing you to craft custom in-ear mixes or utilize outboard effects without altering your main mix levels. Inserts on the mono channels open up additional processing options. Dedicated Stereo Channels for Keyboards, Effects and More The DM16 provides two dedicated stereo line input channels, complete with balance and 2-band EQ controls. Keyboardists will appreciate the ability to directly plug in their synth or digital piano without needing a D.I. box. Use the stereo channels to incorporate backing tracks, submix drum machines or return processed signals from outboard effects units. Their versatility makes the DM16 a great compact solution for expanding your live rig or studio mixing capabilities.
