DetailThe SRX928S dual 18" powered subwoofer from JBL offers professional-level performance for small to medium live shows. With dual 18" woofers, it delivers powerful low-frequency sound with minimal distortion. JBL precision waveguides provide controlled sound dispersion for accurate coverage. The system is scalable so you can start with a single subwoofer and add more as needed for larger shows. Dual 18" Woofers Produce Powerful Bass The SRX928S is equipped with dual 18" woofers to provide robust low-frequency response. The woofers use a differential drive design with dual voice coils and dual gaps for improved heat dissipation and wider dynamic range. The woofers have neodymium magnets and integrated heat sinks to handle high power levels with minimal distortion. The result is a subwoofer that can produce a rich, full low end for live performances. Precision Waveguides Provide Controlled Dispersion JBL designed the SRX928S with precision waveguides and horns to provide accurate control of sound dispersion. The waveguides allow for seamless coverage from front to back and minimal unwanted sound behind the subwoofer. The large horn also provides low-frequency control to reduce boominess. The waveguides and horns, combined with the dual 18" woofers, result in a subwoofer with tight, defined low-frequency response. Scalable, Versatile System for Any Size Show The SRX928S subwoofer system is scalable so you can start with a single subwoofer for small shows and add more as needed for larger shows. The subwoofers integrate with JBL's other touring sound equipment so you can build a complete system tailored to your needs. The subwoofers also work in various configurations, from pole-mounting to ground-stacking to flying arrays of up to 16 cabinets. The versatile, scalable design makes this an affordable solution for any size live performance. Advanced DSP and Limiters for Optimized Sound The SRX928S includes sophisticated digital signal processing to optimize the sound. It offers 24-band parametric EQ, up to 2,000ms of delay and level control. JBL's Array Size Compensation filter corrects the sound based on array size, while the Throw Distance Compensation filter provides consistent sound coverage at different distances. Advanced LevelMax limiters, co-developed with Crown, protect the woofers from damage. The DSP and limiters allow you to achieve premium sound quality and maximum performance from the SRX928S subwoofers.
