DetailThe active BASSBOSS SSP118-MK3 features high-output touring sound and accurate flat response down to 30Hz. This all-genre subwoofer is designed for professionals who strive to provide superior sound quality. The SSP118-MK3 allows you to deliver a premium experience with less equipment that is easy to transport. The amplifiers and DSP feature powerful 96kHz processors with pristine sound quality and eight touch-of-a-button on board presets. The state-of-the-art Class-D amplifier provides a true 2,500 watts of RMS power. The amplifier is truly capable of delivering continuous power, ensuring that it isn’t the limiting factor on your quest for low frequency. Additionally, by providing an abundance of power, the possibility of overheating and damage to the woofers caused by clipping is virtually eliminated. Control BASSBOSS software provides additional computer-accessible presets, networked remote control, and remote DSP update capabilities. Each unit features dual Ethernet ports with a built-in network switch for computer connectivity and cascading networking ability. IP65 waterproof connectors provide peace of mind in unpredictable environments, and the MK3 line offers 90?50VAC global power compatibility for use all over the world. The structurally braced Baltic birch cabinet features a deeply recessed amplifier well, two integrated through-cut pocket handles on each side, four tuned ports and a host of other design features all aiding in performance, output and transport functionality. Optimized for remarkably deep bass response, from a cabinet of manageable size, this sub is loaded with a single 18" long-excursion neodymium motor that yields accurate punchy bass to meet the demands of live sound. The output is extremely flat, delivering response from 30Hz to 100Hz. Unlike designs that require equalization, the SSP118's tone, response and sensitivity are native to the design. From install to studio, touring and live sound installations, the flyable SSP118-MK3 serves professionals and venues who desire significant bass output but have limited space.
