The KW122 active loudspeaker combines 1,000W of power with a 12" woofer to deliver deep bass response for any application. Designed for the road, the KW122 is built into a tour-grade Baltic birch enclosure and offers multiple mounting options so you can use it as a floor monitor, suspend it or pole mount it. Thundering Low End With a 12" Woofer The KW122 is equipped with a 12" woofer that reaches down to 50Hz for powerful low-frequency reproduction. Its large cone area and long excursion allow it to move lots of air, creating a full low-end that you can feel. The woofer is perfectly matched to the 1,000W Class-D power amplifier for tight, controlled bass without boominess. Pure, Natural Sound With a Class-D Amplifier The KW122 utilizes an efficient Class-D power amplifier that delivers 1,000W of continuous power with a frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz. Class-D technology provides high power density in a compact design, resulting in a lightweight amp module. More importantly, its fast switching speed and built-in filters produce a clean signal with minimal distortion for pure, natural sound. Road-Ready Cabinet Construction To withstand the rigors of the road, the KW122 enclosure is constructed from tour-grade Baltic birch, a durable wood that is less prone to dents and scratches. The wood is sealed to prevent moisture damage. Multiple handles and pole mounts make the KW122 easy to transport and set up on speaker stands. It also includes inserts for suspending the speaker vertically or horizontally. The angled cabinet design allows it to be used as a low-profile floor monitor. Flexible Connectivity and Control The KW122 offers two combo XLR inputs with individual gain controls that accept mic or line level signals, as well as RCA inputs. It provides loop outputs, a summed output and a potentiometer port for remote level control. User EQ controls let you optimize the speaker for various subwoofer configurations.
