A four-piece back and sides are stained to highlight the wood's straight, quartered grain. V-Class Bracing Optimizes Projection and Intonation Taylor's patented V-Class bracing marks an evolution beyond traditional X-bracing. It functions as a "sonic engine" boosting volume, sustain and resolving intonation issues. The bracing creates notes that sound purer, clearer and more consistent throughout the fingerboard. The guitar is easier to tune, with notes that have more projection, sustain and less "sourness."
