DetailThe Taylor 322ce V-Class Grand Concert acoustic-electric guitar is an all-solid wood instrument that will stay with you for a lifetime, and only sound better with age. The Grand Concert body shape is slightly smaller and yields controlled overtones, allowing it to be heard more clearly and offering an articulate voice with top-end chime. It’s well suited for fingerstyle players and light strummers, as well as flatpickers and those who find smaller instruments more comfortable. The top of the 322ce is made of tropical mahogany, which has a meaty midrange and strong fundamental without adding a lot of ringing overtones. It responds well to players who like dry, earthy, lo-fi sounds, and has a natural compression that smooths out strumming and picking technique. Mahogany's clear and direct tonal character makes it a great option for playing and standing out among other instruments. The 322ce also includes Taylor V-Class bracing, which optimizes the response of an acoustic guitar by boosting volume and sustain, and creating purer, more orderly notes.Enjoy additional amplification with the Expression System 2 electronics, which features the Taylor patented behind-the-saddle pickup. It has three uniquely positioned and individually calibrated pickup sensors, allowing all the nuance of the guitar’s tone to come through clearly, whether playing acoustically or plugged in. Together with Taylor’s custom-designed “professional audio?grade preamp, this system produces exceptional amplified tone and responsiveness. The Taylor ES2 operates through a proprietary 9-volt battery compartment and easy-to-use volume, and active bass and treble controls. Additional appointments to the 322ce include a West African ebony fingerboard and bridge, Taylor nickel tuners with nickel buttons and a black graphite nut. Comes with a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.
