DetailThe left-handed Epiphone SG Prophecy electric guitar provides progressive rock and metal guitarists with an instrument designed for high-gain shredding. Its asymmetrical SlimTaper mahogany neck and 24-fret ebony fingerboard allow fast, fluid lead playing, while its mahogany body delivers a warm yet focused tone. Onboard Fishman Fluence humbuckers offer three voicings to shape your sound. Fishman Fluence Pickups Deliver High-Output Versatility At the heart of the SG Prophecy's tonal offerings are a pair of Fishman Fluence humbuckers. These proprietary pickups provide three voicings selected via push-pull pots on the volume and tone controls. The default high-gain setting produces a hot, fat tone suited to hard rock and metal. Pull the tone pot for a vintage PAF-style humbucker sound. Pull the volume pot to activate an optimized single-coil tone for shimmering cleans and crisp crunch. The Fluences give you a wealth of tones to shape your signature sound. Mahogany Body and Neck Provide Warmth and Sustain The SG Prophecy's mahogany body and neck provide a rich, balanced tone with generous sustain. Mahogany's natural warmth and resonance gives your playing a fullness that cuts through dense mixes. The 3/4" maple top adds articulation and its flame maple veneer contributes striking looks in your choice of Aged Gloss finishes. Overall, the guitar's construction supplies a blend of warmth and focus that works for both rhythm and lead playing. Slim, Fast Neck and 24-Fret Ebony Fingerboard The SG Prophecy's asymmetrical SlimTaper mahogany neck offers a slim, contoured profile for fast fingering. Its 24 medium-jumbo frets provide ample room for expressive lead licks and wide bends. The smooth ebony fingerboard facilitates nimble fretting, while elegant Block and Triangle inlays add visual flair. A 1.69" nut width gives you a comfortable amount of fingerboard real estate without feeling overly wide. The neck's construction and design make the SG Prophecy ideal for progressive rock and metal soloing. Premium Appoints Complete the Package Along with its aged gloss finish, the Epiphone SG Prophecy left-handed electric guitar features premium cosmetic touches. The headstock sports an Epiphone logo along with the Prophecy series badge. The neck has block and triangle pearloid and abalone inlays along its ebony fingerboard. The knurled metal control knobs have a brushed nickel finish that matches the plating on the tuners, bridge and tailpiece. A premium gig bag is included to protect your SG Prophecy when transporting it to gigs and jam sessions.
