DetailThe Takamine JJ325SRC acoustic-electric guitar gives you the chance to craft a broad range of tones with the flexibility of the renowned guitarist John Jorgenson's signature model. Designed in collaboration with Jorgenson, this dreadnought guitar features a solid spruce top with laminated Wonder rosewood back and sides so you can produce depth and power as well as a shimmering high end for articulation and clarity. The mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard give you smooth playability to cover any genre. With the CT4B II preamp system, you have extended sound options to shape your tone with parametric EQ, chromatic tuner and reverb. As an acoustic-electric guitar, the JJ325SRC provides an amplified voice for performing or recording situations. Premium Woods for a Versatile Voice The spruce top, laminated Wonder rosewood back and sides, and mahogany neck of the JJ325SRC give you a broad tonal range to suit any style. The spruce top produces bright, balanced tones with bell-like highs. The rosewood back and sides add warmth and depth. Together, these premium woods generate a resonant, full voice that projects well. The mahogany neck also provides a warm, rich tone and smooth playability. Cutaway Design for Easy Upper Fret Access The JJ325SRC features a cutaway dreadnought body shape so you can reach higher frets with ease. The cutaway gives you full access to the upper frets for advanced chords and lead playing. Despite its cutaway, the JJ325SRC still produces the robust tone that dreadnought guitars are known for. The larger body also provides more resonance and a bigger sound than smaller-bodied guitars. CT4B II Preamp for Crafting Your Sound Takamine's CT4B II preamp system gives you control over your amplified tone with the JJ325SRC. It includes a built-in chromatic tuner, parametric EQ to shape your EQ curve and digital reverb to add dimension to your sound. The preamp's intuitive controls make it easy to dial in your perfect tone for any musical situation. You can adjust bass, middle and treble frequencies as well as reverb level. The preamp runs on two AA batteries, so you have convenient onboard electronics without an external power supply. Premium appointments for playability The mahogany neck, 12-fret rosewood fingerboard and 1.6875" nut width of the JJ325SRC provide a comfortable playing feel. Pearl dot inlays guide you along the neck, while a cutaway gives you easy access to upper frets. Ivory tuner buttons, multi-ply binding and a red gloss finish add premium aesthetics. The JJ325SRC is a signature model worthy of its namesake's versatility and artistry.
