DetailThe Taylor 722ce Koa Grand Concert acoustic-electric guitar highlights the natural look, feel and sound of the tonewood, in a slightly smaller body shape with an articulate voice and top-end chime. The select-grade Hawaiian koa features rich color variegation and straight grain structure for stunning aesthetics. Enjoy optimized response with Taylor’s innovative V-Class bracing system, which boosts volume and sustain, creates purer and more orderly notes, is easier to tune and has more solid pitch. The ultrathin matte finish helps coax a livelier, punchier response, as well as produces a warm and inviting tactile sensation. The 722ce’s Grand Concert construction is well-suited for fingerstyle players, light strummers and flatpickers, with an intimate size that’s comfortable for lap and couch playing. Get additional amplification with the Taylor Expression System 2 (ES2) electronics—a patented behind-the-saddle pickup with three uniquely positioned and individually calibrated sensors, ensuring that all the nuance of your tone comes through clearly. Together with the custom-designed preamp, the system produces exceptional amplified tone and responsiveness. It operates through a proprietary 9-volt battery compartment and easy-to-use volume, and active bass and treble controls. Additional appointments to the 722ce include mother-of-pearl fountain inlays, rosewood binding, a dark-stained maple pickguard and Taylor polished bronze tuners. This guitar comes with a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.
