DetailThe Blueridge BR-183 Historic Series 000 acoustic guitar delivers an authentic vintage tone and premium playability in a compact body. Carefully selected tonewoods and traditional bracing provide full, balanced sound with shimmering highs and a warm low end. The solid Sitka spruce top resonates freely, articulating each note with clarity. Solid Indian rosewood back and sides add richness, depth and cutting power. Vintage Inspired Neck For Fast, Comfortable Playing The BR-183's mahogany neck has an oval profile and dovetail joint, reminiscent of pre-war acoustics. Its neck feels sleek in your hands, allowing you to play complex chords and melodies with ease. The premium ebony fingerboard provides a smooth surface for bending and sliding. Properly dried and cured, its wood provides stability and durability. Gold tuners keep the guitar in tune through long practice sessions and performances. Scalloped Bracing Achieves The Perfect Tone Balance The BR-183's top is braced in a forward-shifted X-pattern, a design found on vintage acoustics from the 1930s. Lightly scalloped braces strengthen the top while allowing it to vibrate freely. This produces balanced tone with shimmering highs, warm mids and rich lows. The smaller body provides tight, focused sound with impressive projection, ideal for recording or performing. Lavish Details Honor Acoustic Tradition Binding, inlay and rosette showcase superb craftsmanship. Multiple layers of ivoroid and wood binding grace the body, neck and headstock. The rosette features concentric rings of wood and abalone that accentuate the spruce top. Split-diamond fingerboard inlays made of genuine abalone add beauty without impairing tone. A matching truss rod cover and strap button complete the upscale look.
