DetailThe Behringer RD-6-BU analog drum machine delivers the true analog sound of vintage beatboxes along with modern connectivity. This analog drum machine features 8 original drum voices with authentic circuitry matched to the original, including the legendary clap from the BR-110. The 16-step sequencer lets you chain up to 250 patterns into full songs with real-time switching between 32 different beats. Distortion circuitry modeled after the DS-1 adds extra bite and flair. With 11 hands-on controls, LED step buttons and stereo 1/4" and 1/8" outputs, the RD-6 makes beat creation intuitive yet powerful. Sync over USB, MIDI or Clock for easy integration with your rig. Craft Vintage Drum Grooves With Authentic Analog Circuitry Within the RD-6 lies the same analog heart that powered classic beatboxes. All 8 drum voices use authentic circuitry matched to the original components, like the lauded clap from the BR-110, for true vintage tone and response. The 11 rotary controls let you shape the sound of each voice by hand, from pitch to decay to distortion. Flip the Voice Mod switch to add variation and movement to the kick, snare or any other drum. The pure analog signal path means every tweak impacts the sound immediately, with no digital conversion getting in the way. Build Full Songs With the 16-Step Sequencer and Pattern Chaining The 16-step sequencer makes it simple to program drum patterns, while pattern chaining allows you to arrange up to 250 bars into complete songs. Choose from 32 different patterns and switch between them in real time for dynamic performances. The 16 step buttons light up to clearly show your sequence and dedicated buttons let you instantly clear or randomize patterns. Use the Tempo knob to find the perfect groove, then sync via USB, MIDI or Clock to integrate the vintage RD-6 with modern gear. Add Snarl and Attitude With Onboard Distortion While the RD-6 delivers authentic vintage tone, it also brings modern touches like distortion to thicken up the sound. The dedicated Distortion knob applies crunchy grit modeled after the DS-1, adding plenty of snarl and attitude. Dial it in on the kick and snare for a lo-fi vibe or crank it on everything for sheer mayhem. The distortion even works on external sounds coming through the stereo inputs, opening creative options. Perform and Produce With Hands-On Controls and Connectivity Despite its vintage roots, the RD-6 fits right into the modern studio. Dedicated Volume knobs provide balanced stereo outputs via 1/4" and 1/8" jacks, while the headphone jack lets you monitor on the go. USB and MIDI ports enable sync with DAWs and other instruments. The tactile interface speeds up creative flow, from the step buttons and rotary knobs to the Start/Stop and Tempo controls. Whether crafting beats at home or triggering drums live on stage, the RD-6 makes it fast and fluid.
