DetailThe NUX MG-400 Dual DSP Modeling Guitar and Bass Effect Processor Pedal provides 25 guitar-amp emulations, along with one bass amp and one acoustic-amp simulation. If you want to switch out speaker cabinets, you can add third-party IRs (using NUX QuickTone software) or dig into the 25 onboard guitar cabs you can capture with four microphone models and three virtual mic positions (edge, middle and center). The MG-400 also provides eight onboard bass cabinets and three acoustic-guitar IRs. Effects include various flavors of reverb (plate, hall, spring and more), delay (analog, tape echo, reverse and more), vibrato, tremolo, phase, flange and chorus. An intuitive, color LCD makes editing the various parameters fun and easy, and an onboard tuner ensures your guitar or bass intonates sweetly—whether you’re raging with saturation or going for spooky atmospheric vibes with modulation textures. Signal blocks can be moved freely, so you can put amps and effects in just about any position you want in order to create unique tones. Onboard drum loops tailored to popular styles (rock, jazz, funk, metal, reggae, etc.) make solo jamming, practice and songwriting come alive. Looping artists can choose stereo for a maximum record time of 30 seconds or go mono and get 60 seconds, and the MG-400 can automatically beat-match phrases to the current bpm. USB connectivity provides the option for users to get firmware updates, load the NUX QuickTone software and deploy the MG-400 as a recording interface.
