DetailThe Keeley Mk3 Driver Andy Timmons Full Range Overdrive effects pedal gives you inspiring tones at your feet. Designed in collaboration with guitarist Andy Timmons, this overdrive workstation lets you craft everything from pristine cleans to vintage fuzz. Two switches provide versatile control over drive and tone characteristics for a broad range of sounds. The drive toggle selects between smooth, compressed germanium diode overdrive or Andy's brighter, more articulate LED clipping. The tone switch chooses between Andy's preferred EQ or Keeley's legendary phat boost for pushing single coils. Two Voicings Expand Your Tonal Palette The Mk3 Driver's Drive toggle switch gives you a choice of two overdrive voicings. Engage the upper position for Andy's signature overdrive with an articulate attack and chimey high end. Flip to the lower position for a smoother overdrive with rich, saturated harmonics, reminiscent of a vintage fuzz pedal. Both voicings respond dynamically to your playing for natural-sounding overdrive at any gain level. Shape Your Tone with Two EQ Curves A Tone toggle switch provides two distinct EQ curves for further tone crafting. The upper "AT" position delivers Andy's preferred EQ setting with a tight low end and shimmering highs. The lower "RK" position boosts lows and highs for a fuller tone that excels at pushing tube amps or single-coil pickups. Select an EQ curve to complement your guitar and amp or use both for maximum tonal flexibility. True Bypass or Buffered Bypass Operation The Mk3 Driver incorporates Keeley's high-performance buffer circuitry for silent switching between effected and direct signals. At the press of a footswitch, you can enable the buffer for noiseless operation. When the buffer is bypassed, the pedal routes your signal directly from input to output for transparent true bypass tone. Choose the bypass mode that works best for your rig and playing needs. Inspiring Collaboration Robert Keeley and Andy Timmons developed the Mk3 Driver to capture Andy's sought-after overdrive sounds. The AT/AT setting provides Andy's signature "super AT mod" tone—touch-sensitive overdrive with articulate clarity. The original Keeley-modded BD-2 mode offers the lush, inspirational overdrive that Andy has used for years. A new germanium diode clipping option tames low end for soloing or provides its own smooth overdrive. For Andy, the Mk3 Driver and Keeley's Halo pedal are "tone heaven." Now you can experience that tone heaven too.
